Dating, reimagined
Meeting someone shouldn't be the hard part. Seven gives every match seven days, and a real consequence if you don't show up.
How it works
Most dating apps are designed to keep you scrolling. Seven is designed to do the opposite. To give you a real reason to meet someone, and a real consequence if you don't.
The moment you connect with someone, a 7-day countdown begins. You can see it. They can see it. Every day that passes is a day closer to losing this person forever. There is no pausing it, no resetting it, and no way to slow it down.
For the first five days, both of you receive a single question every morning at 9am: do you want to continue? You must respond before you can access the chat. If either person doesn't reply by 9pm, the match expires quietly. Neither of you will ever know who chose to leave. No notification. No rejection. Just a clean, honest end.
Chat, flirt, make plans, as much as you like. What you cannot do is share personal details. Our technology automatically detects and blocks phone numbers, Instagram handles, Snapchats, WhatsApp numbers, and any other identifying information the moment you try to send it. There is no workaround. The only path to exchanging contact details is to go on a real date first.
Reach day seven without a verified date and the match is deleted. Not archived. Not paused. Gone, along with the entire conversation and any chance of reconnecting through Seven. This is enforced without exception. The only way to keep a connection is to turn it into something real.
If your match is more than 15 miles away, a traditional in-person date within seven days isn't always realistic. For these connections, Seven offers an on-platform video date as an alternative. It is not a casual video call. It is a structured, verified 30-minute minimum date that takes place entirely within the app. Both people must remain present for the full duration. Once the timer reaches 30 minutes, the date is automatically verified and contact details become available by mutual consent. This feature is only unlocked when the distance between you and your match exceeds 15 miles. It cannot be used as a shortcut for nearby matches.
Once a date is confirmed by both parties and you are within 48 hours of it, the match enters what Seven calls the Committed State. Check-ins no longer apply. Cancellation rules do. Walk away now and you receive a strike. This window is deliberate. It is the point of no return, and both of you know it. The tension of actually having to show up is part of what makes Seven work.
No-shows result in a strike. Three strikes within 30 days and you're removed from the platform for seven days. Every member is held to the same standard because your time is worth protecting too. Seven is built for people who actually mean it.
Seven has partnered with restaurants, bars, coffee shops and activity venues across London to give members exclusive discounts on their first dates. Whether you want a relaxed coffee, a proper dinner or something a little more adventurous, you'll find curated options with significant money off your bill, just for being a Seven member. Browse partner venues directly in the app when planning your date. No codes, no hassle. The discount is applied automatically when you book through Seven.
Once both people have verified the date and completed the post-date rating, contact details are unlocked by mutual consent. You each decide independently whether to share them. If you both say yes, they're exchanged instantly. At that point, Seven's job is done. What happens next is entirely up to you.
"Seven days. One real date. No way around it.
Use it or lose them forever."
